Job Summary:
PayPal World is a new innovative platform that connects digital wallets across the world. We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Manager of Strategy and Operations to drive the business operations functions for PayPal World. In this high-impact role, you will drive strategic initiatives, establish governance frameworks and operational excellence that enables PayPal World to scale with confidence and clarity. As a key partner to the PayPal World leadership team, you'll translate vision into operational delivery and serve as a trusted advisor across all functional areas.Job Description:
Essential Responsibilities:
- Identify issues and recommend best practices based on specialized expertise.
- Lead functional projects and programs that contribute to business improvements.
- Partner with teams to analyze business trends and inform strategic decisions.
- Facilitate collaboration among team members to enhance project outcomes.
- Assess and report on the progress of strategic initiatives within the function.
Expected Qualifications:
- 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Strategic business operations: Lead day-to-day execution of strategic initiatives and ongoing business operations for PayPal World, ensuring alignment with overall objectives
- Operating model governance: Establish and optimize PayPal World's operating model, aligning teams, systems, and resources to support strategic goals and drive process efficiency
- Operating cadence management: Own and orchestrate PayPal World's governance routines, including business reviews and performance assessments, ensuring consistency, insight, and accountability
- Cross-functional collaboration: Foster strong partnerships between all functional workstreams (Product, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Partnerships, Treasury, etc.), acting as a critical liaison between leadership, staff, and other key partners
- Data-driven decision making: Leverage business intelligence to drive informed decisions, identify risks and opportunities, and provide executive-level insights while maintaining visibility of key metrics
Expected Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience at a leading strategy consulting firm, business development and/or corporate strategy team post graduate school
- Select project management experience
Preferred Qualification:
- MBA or quantitative degree from a top school preferred
- Experience in financial services (particularly payments), technology and/or e-commerce preferred
- Demonstrated career progression with increasing responsibility over time
- Strong collaboration skills with proven ability to influence and align cross-functional teams
- Exceptional analytical capabilities with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Results oriented mindset with strategic foresight to identify long-term impacts of decisions on business outcomes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences

Additional compensation for this role may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable.
