Manager, Google Shopping
Google Shopping is responsible for driving shopping growth in European Economic Area & Switzerland, offering consultancy and education to maximize merchant performance. Google Shopping manages thousands of merchants, and the team is comprised of Googlers from all corners of the globe, including account managers, analytical experts, sales leaders, and functional partners such as marketing, strategy operations, and finance. Google Shopping operates independently from other Google ads teams by setting an independent strategic direction and works to balance client-facing excellence with robust solutions to nurture a diverse customer base.
Google Shopping is Google's Comparison Shopping Service (CSS). A Comparison Shopping Service is a website that collects product offers from online retailers and then sends users to the retailers’ websites to make a purchase. Google Shopping is a Google Premium CSS Partner that helps businesses grow by selling more and better across Europe.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a high performing team of shopping account managers working on shopping campaigns in your market.
- Sets strategy and deliver on business growth, engagement, and merchant satisfaction targets set by Google Shopping Solutions management.
- Ensure the team delivers optimization and consultation.
- Manage team performance, create and maintain an inspiring culture, and bring operational innovations with the goal of continued improvement.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in technology sales or working with customers in a sales role.
- 2 years of experience managing a team.
- Ability to communicate in German or Polish, and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in sales strategy, business operations, or account management.
- Experience leading and managing high performing teams.
- Ability to set and deliver on team strategy.
- Ability to be a flexible leader who focuses on the future, creates new opportunities, and adapts to changing circumstances.
