Responsibilities

Design, build, and implement scalable data solutions that support Meta’s next-generation data platform and enable data-driven decision-making across products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define core metrics and translate complex business requirements into efficient and structured data models. Build and maintain robust data pipelines using Presto, Hive, and DataSwarm to ensure high-quality, timely data delivery across systems. Develop and support large-scale storage, caching, and data distribution infrastructure to optimize performance and scalability. Leverage data controls to uphold privacy, security and compliance standards while maintaining operational excellence in areas of data ownership. Drive the development of reusable data framework and contribute to long-term data infrastructure planning to support evolving product and business needs.

Qualifications

Requires Master's degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and 1 year of work experience in job offered or in a data analytics or computer related occupation Requires 1 year of experience in the following: Data ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) design, implementation, and maintenance on a large scale Building scalable dimensional data models and schemas to support analytics, reporting and experimentation Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and analyzing large datasets using tools such as Presto and Hive Programming in Python or Java Database systems and designing storage systems, caching infrastructure or data distribution architectures Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to define metrics and deliver scalable data solutions LAMP stack development

Compensation: $137,788/year to $154,660/year + bonus + equity + benefits
