About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler / Data Architect to design and build a scalable medallion data architecture that delivers trusted, well-organized datasets for business analytics and reporting. This role will play a key part in establishing automated data quality controls to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability across the data platform.
What You’ll Do:
Design, implement, and maintain a medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) for analytics and downstream consumption
Build logical and physical data models, including strong entity-relationship (ER) modeling, for core business domains
Translate business processes such as Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing journeys into clear, reusable data models
Design and implement automated data quality checks (e.g., completeness, accuracy, freshness, validity) across datasets
Develop and maintain data quality frameworks, alerts, and monitoring to proactively identify and resolve data issues
Build analytics-readydatasets optimized for BI tools and self-service consumption
Define, document, and socialize data definitions, metrics, and KPIs, driving alignment and consensus across business teams
Produce clear data documentation to support analytics consumption and governance
Implement and enforce RBAC (role-based access control) and data security best practices
Optimize data models and pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
Partner with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to ensure end-to-end data reliability
What You’ll Need:
10+ years of experience in data modeling and data architecture, including dimensional and normalized modeling
Proven experience building medallion-style data architectures
Hands-on experience designing and implementing automated data quality validation and monitoring
Deep understanding of entity-relationship modeling and core data design principles
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake
Proven experience building and orchestrating data pipelines using dbt, Airflow, or similar tools
Experience with BI and analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
Ability to design optimized datasets for downstream analytics and reporting use cases
Strong understanding of RBAC, data security, and data governance concepts
Experience documenting datasets, metrics, data models, and quality rules for business consumption
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
Bonus Points:
Experience with data quality frameworks or tools (e.g., dbt tests, Great Expectations, custom validation frameworks)
Experience supporting enterprise-scale analytics and executive reporting
Familiarity with analytics engineering and modern cloud data platforms
Experience working for a SaaS security company and building Product adoption metrics is preferred

Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location.
