About the Role:
CrowdStrike is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a passion for quality to join our CTIO sensor engineering team. We’re looking for smart people who want to be challenged to take ownership of what they build and work in an environment where quality is the company culture. Come use cutting edge tools and technologies as well as tried and true ones to find interesting bugs. Work on our endpoint product that is embedded deeply into the operating systems we protect. Help us build a world-class endpoint security product that delivers an efficient, reliable, seamless experience to our customers.
The CTIO team at CrowdStrike is responsible for defining and executing the company's technology vision and strategy, driving innovation and overseeing the development and evolution of the Falcon platform. The CTIO ensures CrowdStrike maintains its position as a technology leader by fostering engineering excellence, aligning technical capabilities with business objectives, and anticipating emerging threats and market trends.

What You’ll Do:
Review engineering designs and provide plans and strategies for ensuring security, performance, and testability.
Build reliable and easily consumed tools, frameworks, and environments for yourself and peers to build upon, leveraging internal or open source solutions to test in new ways.
Work collaboratively with product and release management to control risk and improve quality.
Write clear and detailed bug reports when things break, and work with the team to identify and validate fixes.
Deliver and accept feedback with grace and courtesy.
Take ownership and be accountable for deliverables, both individually and when leading a team.
What You’ll Need:
Knowledge in Window/macOS/Linux OS internals and debugging tools
Demonstrated ability to write high-quality C, C++, and Python code
Demonstrated ability to design and develop efficient test strategies and test plans
Demonstrated ability to develop automated test cases, increased test coverage, reduced test time.
Experience in CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins and OS specific performance analysis tools
Experience in testing low-level system internals that lead to memory usage, contention and performance
Team player – demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a globally distributed team.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location.
