Lead Group Product Manager, Google Ads Marketing Platform

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google. We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $227,000-$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead the team through defining, identifying, collecting, and tracking appropriate product or business metrics, both quantitative and qualitative for new or existing products or business ventures.
- Define and execute the product vision for an AI-driven marketing platform that leverages Google’s unique data scale to solve complex go-to-market challenges.
- Serve as the trusted technical partner to Google Ads Marketing leadership, bridging the gap between engineering innovation and commercial strategy to accelerate business goals.
- Own the roadmap to unlockcumulative business impact, transforming the platform into a measurable engine of growth.
- Inspire, coach, and scale a team of senior product managers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, user-centricity, and high-velocity execution.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 5 years of experience in people management, with technical leadership.
- 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
Preferred qualifications:
- 7 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
- 5 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
- Experience in MarTech, AdTech, or enterprise software.
- Experience integrating machine learning or AI technologies into product roadmaps to solve ambiguous user problems.
