Manager, Software Engineering - Storage

Meta is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineering Manager to join the Storage team. As a leader in the tech industry, we are looking for someone who can drive innovation, collaboration, and technical proven experience in the field of highly performant distributed storage systems.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of software engineers to deliver highly performant and highly available distributed storage systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams/customers such as Ads Infra, Video Infra and MSL to drive technical vision Develop and implement technical strategies to achieve business objectives Foster a work environment of continuous learning, growth, and improvement

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management and managing engineers 12+ years, or PhD + 8 years, of software engineering work experience, including technical management BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience 2+ years managing managers, 5+ years managing technical teams

Compensation: $219,000/year to $301,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
