Senior Creative Lead, Marketing (English, Portuguese/Spanish)
As a Creative in Marketing, you bring visual, design, written and experiential acumen to Google products and services, presented across all major media, content, channels, and experiences. You have the ability to perform your role in a flexible, ever-changing environment and must be open to new influences and inspiration. You will work with a deeply cross-functional team and inspire a team of vendor partners by sharing ideas and developing effective solutions to generate multiple concepts supporting all forms of major media. You will be equally comfortable making; rolling up your sleeves and designing, mocking, writing, or prototyping; showing, not telling. Above all, you will inspire and lead by example by making the most of every opportunity to develop breakthrough creative, consistent with the Google Marketing brand, and be able to take and provide clear direction and creative feedback that pushes work forward.
As the Senior Creative Lead, you will act as the creative point of contact for our cross-product area campaigns, spanning Search, Gemini, Android, Pixel, and more. You will be a catalyst who brings excellent work execution to life, ensuring our work is culturally vibrant for diverse markets. You will pivot the team from traditional workflows to an AI-first creative engine, utilizing AI Marketing tools and principles to scale assets and prototype ideas faster. You'll advocate for work that is grounded in user insights, ensuring that every touchpoint feels helpful, intuitive, and undeniably 'Google.' Your goal is to steward the brand by simplifying processes and removing bottlenecks, ensuring nothing stands between your team and their ability to deliver work that defines the future of technology.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the creative strategy and execution for high-impact cross-product area marketing campaigns across LATAM, ensuring all work meets company standards of authenticity and craft.
- Lead the adoption of AI tools within creative workflows to rapid-prototype ideas, scale asset production, and modernize how we tell stories in the region.
- Architect agile and scalable production models that reduce bottlenecks, collaborating and managing agency partners to deliver high-quality work at speed across diverse markets.
- Partner with local, regional, global teams, and leadership to align creative outlook with business growth goals, ensuring creativity is effective and measurable.
Adapt, scale, and translate global narratives into culturally relevant stories for LATAM users, ensuring linguistic nuance and regional resonance in every execution.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 9 years of experience in creative leadership (agency or in-house), specifically in art direction, copywriting, or creative strategy.
- Experience leading consumer marketing campaigns across multiple regions or markets.
- A portfolio of creative work displaying experience in [Brand, Interactive, Conceptual, Experiential, or Technology) design.
- Ability to communicate in English, and Portuguese or Spanish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience utilizing AI tools in professional creative workflows.
Experience managing and inspiring external creative agencies to deliver "breakthrough" work.
- Experience consolidating complex product portfolios into simple, human-centric narratives.
- Understanding of Latin American culture, slang, and market dynamics.
- Ability to work with agility, removing process blockers and managing multiple stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
