Meta is seeking an experienced professional to lead the Connectivity Hardware engineering new product development and supply chain strategy efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing NPI qualifications and building and maintaining our hardware portfolio through part numbers in Fusion. You will develop and implement strategies to streamline part creation and aggregate Connectivity Hardware Engineering demands. The lead needs to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, assuring network requirements and design deliverables are met.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering interface with Sourcing to develop supply chain strategies that expand our supply base, minimize material lead times, increase supply inventory, and maximize engineering design time Develop and implement systems and metrics to track engineering deliverables, feedback, and improvement opportunities with construction and structured cabling design teams Build and maintain the hardware portfolio through part numbers in Fusion Streamline part creation processes and aggregate engineering demands for Connectivity hardware Create and complete new product part number requests (PNR) and manage product lifecycle changes via Engineering Change Orders (ECO) Work with suppliers to obtain data sheets/specifications and manufacturing part numbers validate supplier specifications against Meta requirements and create Facebook Part Numbers (FBPN) upon successful validation Program manage the audit and onboarding process for new suppliers, ensuring qualification schedules align with business needs Oversee supplier qualification, progress reporting, and status communication Program manage all phases of new product development, including prototype creation, engineering validation (EVT), design validation (DVT), and production validation (PVT) Capture and communicate progress reports and qualification status to stakeholders Lead a team of contingent workers to administer part number creation and maintenance, ensuring hardware readiness for Connectivity projects Develop structured feedback mechanisms with cable design and construction teams to identify pain points and business needs Drive continuous improvement initiatives with the Engineering team Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to assure network requirements and design deliverables are met Detail oriented, demonstrated experience to provide solutions to complex problems and to meet tight deadlines

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, operations, or a related field, with a focus on data center deployment, network infrastructure, or similar industries Experience with product life cycle management (PLM) process Proven experience in strategic planning, project management, and problem-solving, with a track record of delivering results in fast-paced and dynamic environments Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to drive complex projects and influence stakeholders Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work with cross-functional teams Experience with supply chain planning, procurement, and logistics Demonstrated spreadsheet expertise and data analysis Advanced degree Experience working in the technology or data center industry, with knowledge of data center infrastructure and network architecture Demonstrated track record of effectively engaging different cross-functional stakeholders Demonstrated communication skills to working team members and leadership Supplier interface and supplier management experience Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) certification Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification Experience with supply chain planning and optimization tools, such as SAP APO, Manhattan Associates, or similar Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, Smartsheets, or similar Familiarity with data center infrastructure and network architecture Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, SQL, or similar Experience with lean, six sigma, or other process improvement methodologies Familiarity with cloud computing, artificial intelligence, or machine learning applications in supply chain management Demonstrated change management and stakeholder management skills, with ability to drive organizational change Business acumen and financial management skills, with ability to analyze and drive business decisions

Compensation: $173,000/year to $245,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
