Senior Product Manager, RCS for Business

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.
One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
In this role, you will be joining a fast-paced environment where new discoveries are frequent and require constant adaptation. You will manage direct customer interaction, high impact, and challenging trade-offs.
Responsibilities
- Lead PRDs by collaborating with partner teams (e.g., engineers, program managers, UX) during product design and development to implement the requirements to turn PRDs into OKRs for multiple teams.
- Contribute to the ambition of creating an engaging business messaging platform.
- Spend time with customers, users, and partners around the world, both virtually and physically, understand their needs and translate them to the future of global communication.
- Identify the highest impact opportunities both for Google and the entire RCS ecosystem, which could be related to AI-powered agents, conversational design, commerce, trust and safety, personalized brand engagement, or other areas.
- Enable brands to create an engaging customer experience.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, 0 to 1, etc.).
Preferred qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder or related technical role.
- Experience managing business strategy and execution.
- Experience managing products from conception to launch and working with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in partnerships, collaborating with enterprises on creating technical solutions.
- Ability to work with senior executives, product leaders, and senior engineering leaders across Google.
