Amazon is looking for a talented, smart, experienced and enthusiastic Marketing Manager to help develop and grow our Category marketing business in Mexico. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting new team structure.

The successful candidate will develop strategies and managing the execution of acquisition, engagement and retention initiatives, primarily via online channels including push notifications, emails, onsite experience, SEO, internal search, affiliate marketing, social media and mobile.
Candidate is expected to improve key product features (Search, IDQ, Personalization, Fit, Detail Page, RCX...) by working cross-functionally across Emerging marketplaces stakeholders. You will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail.

Key job responsibilities
Main KPIs are: traffic, acquisition, customer active base, settlement and lapsed rates. Responsibilities:
  • Lead site merchandising for all categories across MX - develop and execute merchandising activities, manage navigation structure, create pages and merchandising features to support coop initiatives, coordinate and support promotional events and marketing campaigns.
  • Lead several programs for customer acquisition and engagement, partnering with several tech teams
  • Work closely with the traffic teams to drive customers and sales to our store, including gateway, outbound, associates, search, social media.
  • Design, lead and implement customer experience enhancement/improvement projects.
  • Create and analyze performance metrics and making business decisions about future direction based on performance and ROI
  • Partner with various technical and business teams to build supporting automation
  • Own weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting of key content and marketing metrics to the leadership team and broader organization.
The ideal candidate will be innovative, team oriented, an effective communicator across functions and levels, have a desire to participate in change, and appreciate a highly entrepreneurial environment with rapidly changing priorities. We are seeking someone with proven track record in project and stakeholder management, deep analytical skills, and ability to simplify and scale.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • 7+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
  • Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
