Sr HR Compliance Specialist LATAM, PxT - Stores & Corp
The Senior HR Compliance Specialist will be responsible for labor and employment compliances for LATAM region supporting Amazon Stores. The incumbent will work closely with the regional HR and employment counsel to drive compliance under various employment and labor practices. The incumbent will partner with HR and business teams to assess employment and labor practices & policies and act as a trusted partner to support business and people strategies in compliance with local/regional laws. The incumbent will manage administrative, statutory and advisory services on matters pertaining to labor and employment HR Compliances in partnership with AET (HR Services) and other HR CoE functions.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead labor and employment compliance initiatives across Brazil, Mexico and Costa Rica, partnering with Legal, Employee Relations, and regional stakeholders to proactively address compliance risks in both markets.
- Own end-to-end delivery of critical HR compliance programs.
- Monitor legislative changes in-country scope, conduct risk assessments for LATAM operations, and develop mitigation strategies tailored to each country's regulatory environment.
- Serve as the primary compliance liaison between LATAM operations and global HR Centers of Excellence, translating complex legal requirements into actionable HR policies and presenting compliance updates to senior leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement of compliance processes and systems across LATAM, leveraging data analytics to identify trends and creating comprehensive documentation for strategic initiatives with regional impact.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Program Management, Human Resources, Employment Law, Computer Science, Finance, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Research or a related field
