Customer Success Finance Manager
- Finance manager partnering with Customer Success and One Services to enable business transformation across the customer lifecycle, delivering post sales technical support and driving customer value and solution adoption.
- Drive Area revenue growth for Unified/Support by translating Corp strategy into actionable plans using market insights and propensity models, with strong focus on MACC to Azure execution. MACC as Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment.
- Embed AI into day to day processes and analytics to improve reporting quality and accelerate business execution.
- Act as a trusted financial advisor, influencing decisions through expert financial guidance, strong stakeholder partnerships, and adaptability to changing business needs.

Develops and leverages relationships with business partners to bolster sales, and to understand and manage business risk. Designs and negotiates solutions to complex financial issues with business partners. Collects customer and partner feedback data and applies data analysis techniques to improve experience. Serves as an advocate for Microsoft and its partners. Manages balance between customer centricity, enablement of sales, and cost-effectiveness.
Works directly with business partners to translate top-down targets to an accountable budget for each group. Completes and reviews analysis, modeling, and research to support preliminary and adjusted forecast cycles. Develops and tests financial models. Partners and solicits insight from business and commercial stakeholders. Manages financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
Shares business insights and advances solutions and action plans to drive business and commercial leader goals and short-term accountabilities. Provides credible insights into industry benchmarks and consumer trends, performance improvements, and growth. Facilitates to resolve complex issues. Manages and executes processes through engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
Understands the interconnections between data, information, and results and translates this into forward-looking narratives and forecasts. Generates actionable plans based on complex results, ambiguous findings, and multi-year time horizons. Participates in and influences business partner situations understanding and awareness.
Monitors comprehensive system of accounting policies, procedures, and controls that span all accounting operations. Maintains control process and procedures regarding accounting, stat, non-financial disclosures, and regulatory filings. Ensures proper financial and accounting infrastructure to maintain reporting requirements.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.
- Fluency in Japanese and English language
Additional or preferred qualifications
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 12+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR equivalent experience.
3+ years experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles.
3+ years work experience in matrix-based organization.
3+ years work experience in the technology or software industry.
