Korea Sales team is seeking a talented and highly motivated Data Analyst who can develop a Business Intelligence and Development (BID) function and work on key projects that will enable Sales team to operate more efficiently and make data-driven decisions. The role would play a key part of a dynamic and agile Sales organization.

Description

As a Data Analyst(12-month contract, based in Korea), you will take ownership of data-driven reporting, performance analysis, and dashboard automation to support business decision-making. This role requires hands-on execution, from data extraction to delivering insights and driving measurable operational improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Streamline reporting processes using SQL, Tableau, and Python/R scripting (automation, ETL, macros, etc.)
  • Work with complex datasets to identify trends, build analytical models, and translate findings into clear business insights
  • Design and implement scalable, user-friendly data products, dashboards, and reporting tools for business stakeholders
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to conduct ad-hoc and recurring statistical analyses that support sales, product, and operational planning
  • Develop end-to-end solutions, such as real-time data pipelines and automated reporting workflows, to improve internal decision-making
  • Present insights and recommendations to teams and leadership with clarity, structure, and confidence

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS / MS in a technical or quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Analytics) or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven proficiency with Tableau, able to build and maintain dashboards independently with minimal guidance
  • Proficiency in SQL (data extraction, transformation, joins, window functions)
  • Ability to perform analysis and automation in Python or R (one required)
  • 1-2 years of experience in an analytical role (internships or relevant academic projects welcome)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building scalable dashboards in Tableau and developing automated reporting workflows
  • Experience delivering business intelligence solutions that improve decision-making or operational efficiency
  • Practical experience applying data modeling, machine learning techniques, or software development principles in a real-world setting
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and drive work independently
  • Strong communication skills — able to tell a clear data story and influence stakeholders with actionable insights
