The Chief of Staff (CoS) to the Vice President of Data Center Delivery at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a senior strategic and operational partner responsible for enabling execution excellence across OCI’s global data center delivery portfolio. This role acts as a force multiplier for the VP, ensuring alignment across regions, functions, and programs while driving rigor, transparency, and scale in support of OCI’s rapid global expansion. 

We are seeking candidates with strong backgrounds in data centers, construction management, proven ability to manage highly complex and every changing priorities, exception written and verbal communication and organizational skills. 

Remote, work from home. Some travel may be required from time to time. 

Qualifications

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 more years of engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Alignment

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the VP of Data Center Delivery, supporting strategic decision-making across global programs and regions.

• Translate OCI executive priorities into clear objectives, initiatives, and execution plans across construction, engineering, commissioning, supply chain, finance, and operations.

• Support annual planning, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and long-range capacity and delivery strategy.

Operational Excellence & Governance

• Own and manage the rhythm of the business, including executive staff meetings, operating reviews, dashboards, KPIs, and performance reporting.

• Drive consistency and discipline in delivery metrics, risk reporting, and escalation processes across regions.

• Identify systemic gaps or inefficiencies and lead cross-functional efforts to improve delivery predictability, cost control, and schedule performance.

Portfolio & Program Enablement

• Partner with regional delivery leaders, PMO, and finance to monitor portfolio health, execution risks, and capital deployment.

• Ensure timely escalation and resolution of critical issues impacting OCI data center delivery schedules or capacity commitments.

• Track execution of VP-sponsored initiatives, ensuring accountability, progress visibility, and follow-through.

Executive Communications & Stakeholder Management

• Develop executive-ready materials for OCI leadership, including business updates, capacity forecasts, risk summaries, and investment justifications.

• Act as a liaison between the VP and senior OCI stakeholders to ensure alignment, clarity, and consistent messaging.

• Support preparation for executive reviews, board-level discussions, and major internal milestones.

Organizational Effectiveness & Scale

• Support organizational design, workforce planning, onboarding, and leadership development as OCI rapidly scales its global delivery organization.

• Partner with HR and leadership to support talent reviews, succession planning, and operating model evolution.

• Lead special projects that advance OCI’s data center delivery maturity, including standardization, governance, and execution model enhancements.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 8+ years of experience in data center delivery, large-scale infrastructure programs, consulting, or strategic operations.

• Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• Strong executive communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights.

• High judgment, discretion, and ability to operate effectively at the executive level.

Preferred

• Experience supporting senior executives in hyperscale cloud, data center, or infrastructure organizations.

• Familiarity with OCI or similar cloud provider delivery models, capital planning, and global portfolio management.

• Strong understanding of construction delivery, financial controls, and large-scale program governance.

• Ability to operate comfortably in ambiguity while driving clarity and results.
