Communications Manager, Brazil
Description
We are seeking a communications professional to join Meta’s Brazil Communications team. This role will provide strategic leadership and be operational for Business Communications, while also driving and optimizing social campaign execution for the broader Communications team. The person will operate with significant autonomy, influence cross-functional strategy, and serve as a subject matter in creator and public figure partnerships.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute Business Communications strategies for Meta in Brazil Serve as a trusted advisor to sales executives on media relations, executive communications, and thought leadership initiatives Shape messaging and positioning in collaboration with internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales and Business Marketing) to support business objectives and manage reputational risk Analyze industry trends and provide strategic insights to inform Business Communications planning Provide operational support for social campaigns across all Communications functions in Brazil (not limited to Business Communications) Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external agencies to execute social campaigns Manage the end-to-end process of partnering with creators and public figures Guide creative development and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field 7+ years of relevant experience in communications, marketing, or campaign management Demonstrated expertise in both business/corporate communications and social campaign leadership Advanced project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills Proven written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English Proven experience working with cross-functional teams and external agencies Experience in the tech or media industry, ideally with global or regional scope Established network of creators, influencers, and public figures in Brazil Expertise in data-driven campaign measurement, reporting, and optimization Familiarity with Meta’s platforms and products
