We are seeking a professional with experience in program management to drive process and data initiatives across the Retail Finance team! This role will focus on financial optimization through process, data, and technology solutions. Responsibilities will range from owning strategic planning and data governance initiatives down to supporting individual project requests. This role will be accountable for the delivery of high-profile outcomes across a complex organizational structure. Success includes partnering and influencing throughout the organization including Finance, Retail Sales, and Operations teams. You should have deep project management experience and be self-directed, motivated, and comfortable working in a very fast-paced environment. You have a strong analytical background, with previous experience in business process and an ability to evaluate, analyze, and solution. You are passionate about leveraging technology to improve manual deliverables.You are flexible and adaptable with leadership skills to handle a variety of activities and complexities.

Description

We are looking for an individual who has the right mix of people management, project management, analytical, and technical skills to successfully refine and deliver finance initiatives. You will have a consistent track record of delivering complex and innovative projects on time. Success requires an individual to both think strategically, connecting the dots of the bigger picture, be comfortable in the details of key deliverables. You must be self-motivated, comfortable working with minimal direction in a global, fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment. You have exceptional analytical skills, are comfortable with getting into the weeds of data analysis, a maniacal attention to detail, and a proven ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization. You’ll build trust and understanding between groups, and orchestrate the activities needed to make your projects successful. You are passionate about new technologies and teaching those around you. The ideal candidate should have experience managing global technical projects that interweave across multiple functional teams with the commercial knowledge of a business team supporting Retail Finance. The position will require the ability to: complete business process analysis, drive complex data analysis, and develop data strategies and governance frameworks. You should be able to leverage your strong verbal skills to articulate priorities, trade offs, and explain technical concepts in business context to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Work with cross-functional leadership to define and gain buy-in on a long-term vision and roadmap.
  • Champion process adoption through collaboration, documentation, and negotiation
  • Monitor projects from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules.
  • Use current programming languages and technologies to champion code based solutions for the Retail Finance team.
  • Set the standards and tools in which the Retail Finance team completes its work
  • Partner with key Sales and Retail Finance leaders to understand their data needs by documenting and translating these needs into projects and key requirements
  • Partner with technical teams to design and develop requirements into workable solutions and lead the solutions for the Retail Finance organization
  • Plan, schedule, and implement ongoing organizational development activities such as training programs, workshops, and summits

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in business analysis, planning, strategy, and/or program and portfolio management roles
  • Proven experience in managing, mentoring, and developing direct reports or project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Bachelors of Science (BS) or equivalent degree in Finance, Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering or a field required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Consistent track record of leading strategic projects, combined with the ability to implement tactical project-level activities
  • Ability to deliver large scale initiatives in a timely manner with high levels of complexity and ambiguity
  • Deep understanding and ability to quickly learn the end-to-end business processes of a large, multi-geo, multi-function organization
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate and maintain relationships with a diverse group of internal partners, including strong prioritization and project management skills
  • Collaborative, flexible, and open working style with an ability to establish trust and credibility quickly
  • Ability to communicate complex technical projects effectively to senior leadership
  • Proficient knowledge in process mapping and other process analysis techniques
  • Proficient knowledge of systems implementation and development lifecycles
  • Technical savvy required to effectively discuss and strategize on solutions with IT teams
  • Experience managing and influencing technical teams
  • Business Process Mapping and Core Data Management around customer data and channel data experience a plus
  • Experience with data capture with external partners on a daily and weekly frequency a plus
  • Experience with business migration of large datasets to new platform a plus

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $146,300 and $244,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
