As an Engineering Project Manager, you'll lead multiple concurrent Agile software development projects from conception through deployment, facilitating Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews while partnering with Product Managers to translate product vision into actionable engineering roadmaps. You'll drive project timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies while ensuring delivery excellence through continuous process improvement and team coaching. Your role involves collaborating closely with Engineering, Design, Product, and Release teams, coordinating dependencies across multiple engineering squads and product areas, and communicating project status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders at all levels while fostering an inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives and working styles. A key aspect of your role includes mentoring team members on Agile principles and project management best practices, championing inclusive practices that ensure all team members can contribute effectively and collaborative decision-making across all teams. Some projects will also require hardware procurement requests and installation coordination.

Responsibilities

• The Edge Services team is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead and coordinate Agile software development initiatives for our innovative Automation and Tooling product portfolio. In this role, you'll serve as the bridge between engineering teams, product stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to deliver exceptional products that delight our customers worldwide.
• Projects will be global and include direct interaction with a broad variety of technical and functional personnel throughout Apple. Responsibilities include software development projects and product management for various applications and tools across multiple teams. Occasional travel is required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Project Management Experience: Over five years of progressive responsibilities in project management roles.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple concurrent projects effectively.
• Collaboration Abilities: Strong capability to partner and collaborate across various teams to implement strategic plans successfully.
• Organizational Skills: Demonstrated project management expertise with strong organizational and planning skills.
• Methodology Expertise: Proficiency in applying Scrum, Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies, along with experience using project management tools.
• Fluent English

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science
• Scrum Master Agile Project Management certification
• MBA, PMI/PMP or CAPM certification
• Language Proficiency: Python, C++, Go, html
