Oracle Fusion HCM – Payroll Expert Principal Analyst
As an Expert Principal Consultant/Analyst and leader within Oracle Customer Success Services (CSS), you will deliver strategic post-sales Payroll consulting and support for Oracle’s major customers. Operating as an authority in Oracle Fusion Payroll, you will influence solution design, resolve complex issues, architect innovative solutions, and drive adoption of next-generation features alongside Redwood UX, embedded AI, and Oracle Fusion AI Agent Studio. You will collaborate with global executive stakeholders, lead and mentor solution teams, and set standards for technical and functional excellence.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Operate as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and trusted advisor on all Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll activities, including solution architecture, compliance, processing, and optimization.
Lead the resolution of complex L2/L3 payroll issues, guide end-to-end implementations, and define strategic process improvements.
Drive customer adoption of new module features alongside Redwood UX and embedded AI, including strategic configuration and best practices for Oracle Fusion AI Agent Studio.
Provide thought leadership for Oracle Payroll, contribute to knowledge sharing across Oracle’s services teams, and mentor/coach project consultants and analysts.
Develop and present solution recommendations to senior client executives; prepare and deliver governance and status reports to project and client leadership.
Oversee multiple high-value project engagements, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality, timely, and secure payroll solutions.
Collaborate with Oracle Product Support and R&D to drive product improvements and address customer escalations effectively.
Foster an environment of continuous improvement and innovation, upskilling teams in the latest AI and Oracle Cloud features.
Role Requirements:
8 to 12 years of hands-on functional experience with Oracle Fusion HCM, specializing in the Payroll module, including implementation, support, and solution architecture.
Significant experience leading and mentoring large teams in global and complex client environments.
Comprehensive understanding of payroll processing, legislative compliance, configuration, and integration with related HCM modules (such as Time and Labor, Absence, Core HR).
Proven expertise in solving highly complex payroll scenarios, including global, multi-country, or multi-jurisdictional requirements.
Oracle Certification in Payroll and other Fusion HCM domains.
Demonstrated success guiding clients through advanced use of embedded AI in Oracle Fusion Payroll, including AI Agent Studio adoption and certification (preferred).
Deep familiarity with Redwood user experience and other recent Oracle advancements.
Mastery of technical tools including SQL, Fast Formula, HCM Extracts, payroll interfaces, and reporting.
Exceptional written and spoken communication skills, with an ability to influence executive-level stakeholders.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and solution design skills.
Proactive leadership, adaptability, and a consistent track record of continuous professional development.
Experience collaborating with Oracle Product Management, Support, and global consulting teams.
Willingness to shift or support clients across global time zones when required.
Desirable:
Exposure to additional Oracle Fusion HCM modules (e.g., Benefits, OTL, Compensation, Security).
Experience with multi-country payroll implementations.
