Consulting Member of Technical Staff (IC5) – Oracle Blockchain Product Development

As Consulting Member of Technical Staff in the Oracle Blockchain Platform development team, you will own multiple components of the platform and work with product managers to architect solutions, create functional specs/design documents for new requirements, implement new features, triage issues in production environments, come up with resolution to unblock customers, identify root cause of the issue, provide a fix for some issues and more. You will be expected to work with multiple programming languages, use open-source solutions, Oracle technologies and leverage AI technologies to accelerate development in an agile and collaborative environment. Additionally, you will be required to technically lead and mentor a small team of developers.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of software architecture, design, and development experience.
- Strong system design and architecture skills with proven experience in developing features for highly complex, distributed transaction processing systems.
- Demonstrated experience with multiple programming languages, such as Java, Go or Node.JS, Solidity and with scripting languages, such as Python, Perl, shell, etc.
- Demonstrated experience implementing solutions on Kubernetes with proven expertise in Kubernetes (K8s) development, including building operators, advanced networking, security best practices, and service mesh integration using Istio and similar technologies
- Demonstrated experience or certifications in public cloud infrastructures, such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, or OCI in areas related to networking, security, DevOps and related.
- Proven experience with DevOps tools and processes in some of the afore mentioned cloud environments.
- Understanding of databases, storage and distributed persistence technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience working in highly distributed team settings.
- Sense of ownership, passion to build, support and maintain quality products for massive scale in collaborative, agile environment, and excitement to learn.
- Experience in technically leading small team of developers and managing their work.
- BS in Computer Science
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS in Computer Science
- Understanding of blockchain technologies (Fabric, Ethereum), their deployments and operations in fintech or traditional financial services
- Experience developing a blockchain platform either in open-source setting or commercially.
- Experience with building and production-grade deployments of Enterprise Ethereum, Hyperledger Besu, and similar permissioned blockchain networks.
- Familiarity with Web3 JSON RPC protocols, MPC wallet integrations, ZK Proof systems, Confidential Payments, ZK-Rollups.
- Strong Understanding and experience of using security technologies: PKI, Cryptography, Identity Management, OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0
- Experience in AI Technologies (AI agents, MCP servers, RAG) would be added advantage.
