You'll collaborate with our Facilities Management team to create innovative security strategies, investigate breaches and create risk assessment plans for the future. The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) is Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) 24/7 ecosystem for intake, triage, management, and escalation of physical security incidents and threats.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership of a GSOC shift while collaborating with other Googlers to enhance the effectiveness of the entire GSOC.
  • Assist in the development of GSOC processes and procedures.
  • Lead the GSOC in incident response and crisis management on a given shift, fully managing smaller incidents and providing support to the overall GSRS team for wider emergencies.
  • Ensure quality control of all items created on a given shift including report writing, verbal briefings, standardization and customer service.
  • Maintain the team schedule and ensure there is adequate coverage on shift.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in law enforcement, intelligence or a military role or equivalent private sector experience.
  • Experience in a dynamic organization.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with security technologies including CCTV, Access Control, and Incident Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of security operations delivering high quality, customer-oriented security programs.
  • Understanding of global geopolitical trends, emerging threats and risks.
  • Ability to manage highly confidential and sensitive information with high ethical standards, including excellent judgment, discretion and diplomacy skills.
  • Excellent people, critical thinking, and decision making skills with the ability to take initiative while building cross-functional relationships.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Hindi fluently to interact with local stakeholders.
