Description

In this position, you will oversee CapEx (Capital expense) team of contract manufacturers (CM) to manage equipment readiness to meet NPI build/ramp schedule and sustaining requirements. It will also cover end-to-end equipment/vendor OSS(on site support) readiness in terms of equipment BOM, procurement, delivery, asset management, transfer, scrap. Part of the role is to also lead continuous improvement for equipment to deliver the best products to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop CM Capital equipment team resource, improve process, setup equipment system and space management, especially equipment warehouse
  • Drive CM team to ensure logistics and custom clearance to ensure Equipment/Spare parts/Consumable In House on schedule
  • Lead CM teams for capital equipment transfers across sites by coordinating with Apple Asset Recovery Team
  • Manage CM teams for vendor onsite support with head count planing, optimization and attendance tracking
  • Responsible for Capital equipment planing, demand justification, design lock tracking, finance audit, maintenance and scrap
  • Offer multiple levels of status updates across a wide spectrum of individual projects to executive management
  • Co-work and support oversea Capital equipment teams for NPI projects planing, cost simulation, budget and executive reporting

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or above, major in business, logistics, trading, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or allied technical subject
  • Proven Experience in manufacturing with planning, project management or equipment management background
  • Good English skill for both oral and written

  • Strong problem solving skills and work under pressure
  • Strong sense of urgency to take immediate actions for recovery while under high pressure
  • Strong self motivation to continue driving excellence
  • Result oriented, strong in leadership and organization skills
  • Ability for some international travel and being onsite at CMs domestically
  • Communication in Mandarin is advantageous
