Web Solutions Developer II, Google Cloud Support (English)
Google's Web Solutions Developers innovate and develop software-based solutions for complex business problems. We're looking for someone who is interested in automation, building scalable solutions, working with large data sets, and bringing deep software development experiences to the complex problem areas of modern development on the Internet.
As a Web Solutions Developer, you will use your technical aptitude and design skills to analyze problems, provide elegant and scalable solutions to them, and identify and resolve dependencies. You will interact frequently and closely with our stakeholders from around the world, and across different functions, to identify pain points and devise innovative technical solutions. You should have a passion for developing software that enables business insight or scales business solutions.

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is CAD 128,000-132,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop applications or tooling for Cloud support.
- Write and review detailed technical design documents.
- Monitor and enhance performance of applications and services.
- Partner with Tech leads to build reliable and scalable features.
- Understand customer and agent issues and advocate for their needs with cross-functional teams.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in full-stack software development and system design.
- Experience programming in one or more of the following: Java, Python, GoLang or TypeScript.
- Ability to communicate in English fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions with local stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in using test frameworks.
- Experience with CRMs and Billing systems.
- Experience with machine learning, data analysis, and data science .
- Ability to work across the stack: front-end, back-end and integrations.
- Familiarity with application-level data storage, retrieval, and analysis tools and concepts such as SQL, NoSQL, logs analysis, protocol buffers, and MapReduce.
