Help develop next generation, scalable, cloud based applications using the VBCS Redwood UI, JavaScript, Java, REST services and AI Agents. 


Collaborate with Product managers and architects to design and deliver new product features.

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze product and customer requirements and translate them into well-designed, scalable software solutions. You will design and implement enhancements to existing architectures, build new product capabilities and internal development tools, and ensure high code quality through comprehensive unit testing. You will collaborate closely with QA and engineering teams to review and validate integration and regression test coverage, drive functional changes through to completion, and clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Work closely with product, architecture, and engineering teams across various Fusion HCM  modules to translate cross-module requirements into well-designed application features, APIs, and shared services that improve business workflows and user experience.

Drive the adoption of best practices in BOSS, VBCS and Spectra architecture methodologies, policies, and procedures within the team and across the organization.

Provide technical leadership through hands-on design and development, mentoring engineers by setting high engineering standards, driving best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence within the SCM team.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Oracle Fusion application developments, emerging technologies, and industry trends to keep the organization at the forefront of innovation in supply chain management.

You MUST have the following skills:

  • BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
  • 3+  years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, JavaScript frameworks, and PL/SQL
  • Experience with cloud platforms (OCI preferred; AWS/Azure acceptable)
  • Solid expertise in system design, service-oriented architecture, and REST/SOAP services
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native microservices and micro-frontend architectures and associated development / deployment workflows.
  • Expertise in Integration technologies like Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or similar platforms
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical content to both technical and non-technical peers, customers and at times to executive leadership
  • Able to operate in a very fast paced environment where time to hit market is super critical

Having these additional skills will be an added advantage :

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion HCM applications / HCM Domain
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Gradle)
  • Exposure to AI capabilities and applied use cases
  • Strong understanding of design patterns and enterprise architecture principles
