As an IT Principal Software Engineer, you will deliver products and improvements for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, you will craft and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most sophisticated technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and partnerships
You will:
Responsible to develop technical solutions to meet business requirements
Assist in training, work assignment and mentoring of less experienced developers
Provide training and mentor other engineers when required
Be a domain specialist in one or more technical programming specialties

Essential Requirements
6+ years of strong experience with Linux and storage fundamentals, Kubernetes networking, storage RBAC, POD Security, Operator SDK/Use of Fabric8 API
Knowledge of networking, service mesh (e.g., Istio, NGINX). Programming - Shell scripting, Python, HELM, Automation - Ansible, CICD
Strong working experience with application architecture, HA, DR, Infrastructure services (DNS, Load Balancer, Firewall, TLS certs, web servers, reverse proxies, GIT
Broad knowledge in systems telemetry and monitoring (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace Splunk, etc.)
Experience with Agile methodologies, effective working independently and in a virtual team setting.
Desirable Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computing engineering or computer science
