Description

We are looking for SQE (Supply Quality Engineer) in Quality Engineering to ensure activities from development through mass production. The display SQE is a lead professional who drives and delivers scalable award-winning Apple products.

Responsibilities

• New Product Introduction
• - Acts as a leading engineer to drive overall quality system development, quality control tool development to deliver scalable product;
• - Identify technical challenges, review the new products, new process design and specification to ensure scalability and alignment with process capability and yield target.
• - Present timely, concise reports or plan for product yield performance, specification convergence status;
• - Drive Failure analysis, Corrective Action implementation plan, and yield bridge to mass production and future project.
• Supplier Execution
• - Review supplier’s quality control flow, in process quality control system, in-coming components and out-going product’s quality control plan, reliability testing plan and execution, align with system test plan to prevent system interaction issue. Identify shortfalls and corrective actions to ensure design and yield target compliance;
• - Work with supplier process/quality teams to map out process development exercises, Critical to quality (CTQ), secure resources and FA in order to improve yield and engage to schedules in line with program goals;
• - Lead suppliers by providing technical direction to establish and validate process capability and risk assessment.
• - Assess supplier’s production readiness to support build events and production ramp. Identify potential execution issues and provide recommendations or solution to mitigate risk;
• - Ensure processes and suppliers are performing as encouraged during production ramp, immediately addressing issues;
• - Monitor supplier’s process performance, and yield loss at different process nodes periodically to prevent quality issue.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS ,MS or Phd in Engineering, EE, Optical, material science, physics, mechanical.
• Ability to drive vendor in Quality improvement.
• Capability to plan DOEs, deep analysis in-process data, implement failure analysis and come up with yield/quality improvement path;
• In-depth engineering background and track record in operations and manufacturing;
• Technical knowledge in display technologies, such as OLED and LCD;
• Ability to hand on FA in EE, Optical, Mechanical, Panel etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in OLED, micro OLED, micro LED frontend or backend.
• Experience in development, process, testing, quality background from display, semi-conduct, electronic industrial
• Research and certify new materials, develop new quality tools and testing methods to ensure customer product quality
• Knowledge on Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning and Data Science is preferred;
• Experience in data analysis and programming languages (such as Python, R, or SQL) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Self-starter and be able to work independently
• Ability to travel (around 50%)
