Sales - Account Executive (Malaysia)
Summary
Apple Malaysia is looking for an energetic and highly motivated individual, ready take on the challenges of a Consumer Electronic Account Executive role. This position is responsible for supporting the CE Account Manager in executing business development opportunities and building strong consumer channel to grow Apple’s business across all lines of business including iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Accessories and Apple Services.
This position will also play a meaningful role in driving positive relationships with Partner’s channel teams including store operations, planning, marketing, merchandising & training.
The ideal candidate has the ability to identify, create, forecast and drive opportunity throughout the entire sales cycle, as well as, has excellent communication skills. Equally important, the candidate is a team player, adaptable, and thrives in a dynamic, changing environment.
Description
The scope of overall responsibilities will cover and focus on:
- Develop deep understanding of local consumer electronics market opportunities i.e business strategy and competitive positioning of each player, competitor's activities & emerging trends.
- Build and establish close working relationships & teamwork with partner’s channel team (all levels) to identify opportunities, align sales objectives and develop sales effectiveness to maximize sales, service and attach rate goals.
- Implement demand generation programs and manage partner’s store performance. Leverage on market insights and ensure Apple products are competitively positioned in all consumer offers.
- Collaborate with various cross functional teams internally to tell the Apple story and build great customer experience at partner’s channel i.e implement and manage retail activities including training, merchandising and advocacy.
- Coordinate relevant marketing activities with partner, ensuring quality communication execution, compliance and appropriate use of Apple creative assets provided by Apple Marketing teams.
- Arrange and conduct Quarterly Reviews with Store/Area/Regional management to discuss the performance of the store and the plans for growth in future quarters.
- Stay on top of partner day-to-day operations to ensure flawless and efficient business flow.
- Coordinate with Apple Operations teams to resolve issues at channel level.
- Perform assigned administrative tasks including relevant sales reporting, inventory reporting, maintaining files, information, and forms.
- Supports Account Manager in building holistic account plan on quarterly and annual basis.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong project management & data analytics skills to drive cross-functional sales initiatives by giving direction, providing support and making effective business decisions.
- Demonstrates ability to think creatively in solving problems, comfortable in dealing with ambiguity and able to adapt quickly to changing environment.
- Experienced with good track record in managing revenue or sales target at national and/or regional level.
- Possess exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to influence without authority and build strong relationship based on trust and win-win collaboration with cross functional teams and customers at all level.
- Possess great negotiation skills and ability to deploy consultative approach in influencing stakeholders.
