This Seller Management role is responsible for systematically handling and nurturing new and growth-stage sellers in eBay's cross-border trading business. The position supports the successful onboarding and growth of naturally recruited sellers. It develops and implements strategies to optimize seller experience using data-driven insights. It also identifies and supports seller growth opportunities through new sales channels like live commerce.

Key Responsibilities

1. New Seller Onboarding Program Management (0-1 Year Sellers)

  • Build and operate outreach programs for organically acquired sellers under 1 year
  • Invent seller journey by stage and manage touchpoints
  • Measure onboarding program efficiency and drive continuous improvement
  • Plan promotional initiatives according to seller growth stage (commission discounts, ad credits, shipping support, etc.)
     

2. Mass Management of Growth-Stage Sellers (1-2 Year Sellers)

  • Develop and complete mass communication strategies for sellers with one to two years of experience
  • Operate customized care programs by seller segment
  • Handle scalable communication channels including regular newsletters, webinars, and online sessions
  • Build and lead seller inquiry and issue response processes
  • Plan and complete seasonal/issue-based seller support campaigns
     

3. Data Analysis and Strategy Development (0-2 Year Sellers)

  • Collect, analyze, and derive insights from 0-2 year seller data
  • Monitor seller performance metrics (GMV, listing count, conversion rate, return rate, etc.)
  • Analyze churn causes by seller journey stage and derive improvement plans
  • Optimize programs through A/B test planning and implementation
  • Develop and implement data-driven seller support action plans
     

4. Coordination and Creation of Seller Learning Content

  • Invent education curriculum by seller stage/needs
  • Plan various educational materials including online guides, video tutorials, FAQs, and case studies
  • Build live commerce instruction manuals and guideline content
  • Produce high-quality content in collaboration with internal teams and external production companies
  • Lead seller help center and education platform content
  • Measure education content effectiveness and update accordingly
     

5. Seller Communication Material Production

  • Write seller announcements regarding policy changes, promotions, seasonal events, etc.
  • Plan and produce communication messages by channel (email, SMS, in-app messages, etc.)
  • Plan creative for seller-targeted marketing campaigns
  • Design seller satisfaction surveys and feedback collection surveys
     

6. Live Commerce Seller Support (Supplementary Duties)

  • Support discovery and recruitment of sellers engaged in live commerce
  • Provide live broadcast operation guides and preparation checklists
     

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience (Account Management, Customer Success, Partner Management, etc.)
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Sophisticated Excel, Basic SQL or above, Tableau/BIX, etc.)
  • Project management experience and ability to coordinate multiple collaborators
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Native-level Korean and Advanced-level English proficiency
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • E-commerce/marketplace platform work experience
  • Cross-border e-commerce or global seller management experience
  • Seller/partner advertising and brand awareness planning experience
  • Live commerce or video commerce related experience
  • CRM system utilization experience (Salesforce, etc.)
  • Vendor/partner management experience
  • Education content planning and production experience
  • Community management or large-scale customer segment management experience

Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

  • Rate of completion for bringing new sellers on board and their initial retention rate
  • Seller GMV growth rate and active seller ratio over a span of 12 to 24 months
  • Seller marketing and promotion participation rate and effectiveness
  • Education content utilization rate and completion rate
  • Data-driven action plan execution rate and goal achievement rate
  • Seller communication open rate and engagement rate
  • Number of live commerce participating sellers and live broadcast performance
