About the team and the role:
eBay Live is building the future of interactive commerce, connecting sellers and buyers through live selling experiences. The Business Development Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the growth and scalability of eBay Live by managing the global seller pipeline and enabling effective seller activation. This role works closely with Business Development, Operations, Marketing, Programming, and Global Seller Success teams, and reports into the Business Development function. The scope of the role is global, with an initial focus on US-based sellers and expansion to international markets over time.
What you will accomplish:
Drive eBay Live platform growth by evaluating and prioritizing approximately 500 seller applications per week, identifying high-potential candidates based on engagement, category needs, and audience reach.
Maintain a healthy and scalable seller funnel by qualifying applicants and producing a minimum of 10% viable leads to support Business Development goals.
Manage top-of-funnel operations in HIVE/Salesforce, ensuring accurate lead tracking, prioritization, and smooth handoffs to Business Development managers.
Support seller activation by scheduling and conducting 6–8 discovery and onboarding calls per week, enabling informed decisions and timely progression through the pipeline.
Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, Programming, Global Seller Success, and GCX to resolve seller issues, improve candidate communications, and enhance the overall seller journey.
Deliver regular reporting on application volume, qualification rates, and funnel health, and contribute to weekly updates and data-driven decision-making.
Improve scalability and consistency by developing and optimizing SOPs for lead vetting, candidate prioritization, sourcing strategy, and global Business Development processes.
What you will bring:
1–2 years of experience in project coordination or a similar role supporting operational or growth initiatives.
Experience working with cross-functional and external partners to deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage high application volumes and competing priorities.
Analytical capability, including strong proficiency in Excel and comfort working with performance benchmarks beyond GMV.
Hands-on experience using CRM tools, with Salesforce experience strongly preferred.
A results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, process optimization, and scalable execution.
