Strategic Partnerships Development Manager, Sports and Live

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $218,000-$306,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Structure partnerships with sports properties and live media events across YouTube products.
- Manage and develop a team that drives the success of YouTube’s global media and sports partnerships, while supporting a culture that encourages creative thinking and risk taking.
- Communicate and collaborate with constituents, in product, finance, marketing, and legal, as well as with external partners.
- Understand industry trends and market insights to adjust to changing circumstances.
- Create and maintain industry relationships, while representing YouTube.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in business development, partnerships, sports, media, management consulting, or investment banking.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA degree or JD.
- 3 years of experience managing people or teams.
- Experience evaluating and licensing content across the sports and live event spectrum, including live rights, highlights and library content across linear television, broadcast stations, direct-to-consumer offerings, and advertiser supported platforms.
- Ability to learn technical and product concepts.
- Ability to grow in fluid, collaborative, and ambiguous start-up like environments.
- Ability to facilitate discussions, structure agreements, interpret legal documents, and work with legal requirements to sign and manage agreements.
