The Wallet, Payments, and Commerce (WPC) team is dedicated to delivering a suite of services and platforms that allow users to easily, privately, securely, and responsibly digitize their wallet. Leveraging our main frameworks, Apple Pay (for payments) and Apple Wallet (for a wide range of other wallet style functionality), our partners can offer simple, private, and secure experiences that build on our goals to safeguard our users' information and to protect their financial health.

Description

We are looking for Apple Pay Marketing Manager to develop and drive innovative activation campaigns and communications across the whole stack of Apple Pay and Apple Wallet services such as in-store payments, online payments, transit, identity and more.

In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to build strategic marketing plans for Japan, and potentially Korea, and implementing the projects from concept through delivery, in collaboration with a cross-functional worldwide Apple team, external agencies and partners like physical and online merchants, banks, issuers, tech and transit companies.

Responsibilities

  • Construct marketing strategies with key partners such as issuers, banks, and online/offline merchants to promote Apple Pay and Apple Wallet usage and implement them with excellency
  • Spearhead negotiation with partners for Apple Pay and Apple Wallet marketing and customer experiences, supporting Business Development team and Marketing Lead
  • Build and review marketing communications of partners and continuously make improvements adapting new findings and market trends
  • Contribute to build overall marketing strategy for Japan and region, supporting Marketing Lead

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in consumer marketing with an experience of leading full-funnel marketing across online and offline, owned and paid, digital and physical channels
  • A proven record of consumer communication building experience from scratch brief to execution, dealing with ambiguity
  • Ability to manage and lead external creative agencies
  • Strong analytical skills
  • English and Japanese native level proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in Korean is a plus
  • Master of Business Administration degree is a plus
  • Multiple experiences of leading successful consumer campaigns such as new product launches, brand campaigns, and/or tactical promotions
  • BtoBtoC marketing experience or collaboration marketing experience with multiple partners in complicated interest conflict environment
  • Ability to see a project as a part of entire plan and to define clear goals of each project to achieve the ultimate objective
  • Strong negotiation skill
