Facility Manager
Description
Meta is seeking an experienced facilities manager to lead Facilities Delivery. This is an experienced individual contributor role, responsible for leading a large team of vendor service providers. This position will have a key role in embodying and supporting the community, driving efficiency through our services, implementing regional strategies to scale operations, and partnering closely with local business leadership to execute priorities. This market is highly complex with many critical facilities operations. This is a full time on-site role that will report to the Regional Facilities Manager, North America East.
Responsibilities
Full on-site oversight of facilities operations and services, inclusive of technical lab spaces and R&D environments Work with Project Management, Real Estate & Facilities, Office Leaders, Workplace Design and hired Architects/Contractors to define scope of work for office new build, expansion, renovation projects to deliver a high quality workplace Change management oversight and coordination with all XFN partners, inclusive of changes in use and programming within technical/critical lab environments Full partnership with Facilities Engineering team to support and ensure onsite operations, strategy, programs and process to support operations, critical systems, preventative maintenance, and asset management Coordinate office requirements for space planning, furniture, IT, and Security and other XFN partners Partner with Transportation, Events & Amenities, Moves and Planning leads in support of strategic plans and execution Track budgets and performance to plan associated with Facilities Operating Expenses (OpEx) annual budgets, forecasting, and CapEx planning Support relationships with building property management companies and their vendors Ensure appropriate triage and execution of all facilities related tasks in alignment with KPI/Service Level Agreement targets Lead client relationship management for all internal clients and ensuring a positive experience and consistent levels of customer service delivery Significant role in working with site leadership to develop and foster Meta work environment across multiple buildings Provide direction to onsite Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) vendor team that includes facilities and engineering services Lead campus location resiliency planning and execution along with support to business critical/emergency situations to ensure minimum disruption to the business Lead alignment of standards in terms of hard and soft services including preventative maintenance delivery, janitorial, landscaping, moves-adds-changes process, shipping/receiving operations and process including management of IFM contract Drive continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the facilities environment implement innovative programs, processes, and procedures that reduce short and long term operating costs while increasing productivity and the workplace experience Produce and communicate management reports and information (financial, KPI’s , SLA’s) Management of building code and regulatory compliance program in partnership with Environmental Health & Safety team
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in facilities management, engineering, construction/project management, real estate, or property management Minimum of 10+ years experience Experience working effectively within deadlines in a time sensitive, growing environment Organizational skills coupled with attention to detail and follow-up Experience crafting effective communications across different platforms Experience in multi-office environment, managing a leased and owned portfolio Experience leading critical facilities operations environments - oversight of technical lab Environmental Health & Safety team Managing a geographically dispersed multi-campus environment Experience handling high level communication with leadership and heads of office Proven experience in negotiating and influencing skills Masters degree in relevant industry field
Compensation: $134,000/year to $189,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
