As a Business Development, you will work closely with partners on Oracle Systems expansion business opportunities and manage transactions resulting from the relationship.

You will be involved in facilitating joint selling between partners and systems sales /solution consulting team while increasing revenue from partner sources. Working closely with  partners, you will set the vision and develop joint account planning strategies that aligns with Systems business objectives. 

You will also be involved in recruiting and educating partners on Oracle Systems business and commercial practices. As a member of the sales team, you will be responsible to maintain accurate and timely information for revenue forecasts.

Responsibilities

  • Owning the Partner relationship for Systems acting as the SPOC for all interactions, ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others both internally and with partners is a pre-requisite.
  • Identify and develop Oracle champions within the partner community.
  • Direct and manage area channel sales throughout the sales cycle and managing the facilitation of joint selling between partners and the systems sales team.
  • Participate in account planning and strategy development evidenced by short, medium and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Set and track annual goals with partners and aligning them to Oracle Systems focus and KPIs.
  • Provide accurate and timely management information and revenue forecasts to senior management.
  • Maintain and grow an active pipeline of forecasted sales to meet monthly and quarterly quota objectives.
  • Facilitate A&C operational assistance to partners around contracts, deal booking issues and Oracle systems and business practices.
  • Responsible for co-ordinating sales, technical enablement and competitive positioning leveraging regional and divisional resource.
  • Partner Marketing: Participate in planning and execution of marketing activities.
  • Partner Recruitment: Assisting VADs with identification of and VAR recruitment.
