In this role, you will be part of the team that installs, troubleshoots and maintains hardware infrastructure for Internet facing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing maintenance and repairs including servers, networking and storage devices, such as replacing hard drives, replace Random-Access Memory (RAM), swap Central Processing Units (CPUs), motherboards, etc.
  • Lead troubleshooting and resolve escalated technical issues over a significant population of affected hardware equipment.
  • Contribute and lead efforts/projects in the deployment, maintenance, and support of current and new data center servers and network infrastructure.
  • Perform active infrastructure upgrades and decommission end of life equipment as required.
  • Follow the site’s environmental health and safety policies.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience in hardware, networking, operating systems, Linux, or project planning.
  • Experience with networking protocols.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Knowledge of basic topology and protocol.
  • Understanding of advanced level Linux skills, including installation, systems administration and troubleshooting.
