Description
Responsible for driving government affairs strategies and programs, promote a positive environment for Apple, support Apple’s business needs and enhance Apple’s reputation:
Identify and approach the key local government agencies closely related to Apple’s supply chain operation; Regularly engage and coordinate with the key government stakeholders at local governments to secure policy support;
Monitor the changes of the public policies, organization structure, decision making process, update the overall relationship portfolio and identify those potential important stakeholders and key figures;
Work with Ops team closely to understand the business needs, help Ops team assess risks or opportunities in complicated political context, and act as a trusted adviser to Ops team while government policy/implementation may bring business impact;
Assist corporate executive’s’ visit including agenda setting, documentation preparation and logistics arrangements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above, 10+ years of working experiences
- Fluency in spoken and written English is a must
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Comfortable in communicating with government officials at all level and the internal leaderships
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior working experience in the government or Government Affairs function of multi-national Corporations
- Manufacturing industry preferred
- National wide scope preferred
