System Engineer I (Cohesity)

We are seeking a motivated System Engineer I to join our team as a Backup Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining backup solutions using Cohesity, EMC NetWorker, Isilon & OCI technologies. This role ensures effective data protection and seamless recovery processes to support the organization’s business continuity objectives.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Deploy, configure, and maintain backup and recovery solutions using Cohesity, EMC NetWorker, and Isilon systems.
Basic understanding of cloud - OCI preferred
Perform routine backup operations, monitor backup jobs, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Manage data restores as requested, ensuring data integrity and security
Troubleshoot and resolve backup failures and related incidents.
Develop and maintain backup job documentation, schedules, and reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project implementation and incident resolution.
Follow established best practices and compliance requirements for data protection.
Participate in an on-call rotation to support for critical backup and recovery issues
Participate in audits and support disaster recovery exercises.
