Master Principal Sales Consultant (IC5) – Oracle Financial Services  

**Location:** Poland (any location in PL), with coverage across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) – major focus on Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Greece, and other CEE markets.

Oracle is seeking a Master Principal Sales Consultant (IC5) for Financial Services to drive pre-sales engagements and solution design with leading banks and financial institutions across Central and Eastern Europe. With a primary focus on deep domain expertise and knowhow of enterprise grade software application for core banking, corporate lending, trade finance, supply chain finance, and a preference for regional knowledge and language skills, this role will directly support revenue acceleration for Oracle’s Financial Services business.

**Description:**  

Reporting to the Sales Consulting Director for Europe, the Master Principal Sales Consultant will engage with prospective and existing customers, acting as a trusted domain and solution advisor. This person should bring up to date domain and regulatory knowledge in core banking, corporate lending, trade finance and supply chain finance. This role is responsible for designing and delivering compelling functional presentations, system demonstrations, proof of concepts, and RFx responses for Oracle’s core banking, corporate lending, and trade finance platforms.

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in the financial services application domain, with a strong understanding of core banking/lending/trade solutions and a history of working with leading vendors such as Temenos, Finacle, Asseco, TCS, Sopra, Surecomp,CGI, Finastra. Previous experience in pre-sales, consulting, or solution architecture roles supporting enterprise banking clients is required. Candidates with additional experience in retail/universal banking are welcomed.

Travel within the CEE and broader Europe region is expected to support critical opportunities and strategic accounts alongside the local sales organization.

**Responsibilities:**

- Lead pre-sales technical/functional engagements with clients, focusing on Oracle’s financial services product suite.

- Serve as the primary functional/domain lead and owner during the sales cycle, ensuring that Oracle’s offerings align precisely with client requirements.

- Analyse and validate customer requirements through direct interaction—meetings, workshops, webinars, and written correspondence.

- Prepare and deliver high-quality solution demonstrations (both remote and onsite) tailored to banking-specific use cases and complex RFx processes.

- Produce clear, concise functional and technical responses for RFx and proposal submissions.

- Design, monitor, and support customer workshops, pilots, and proof-of-concepts for core banking, lending, or trade finance solutions.

- Provide guidance on technical, industry, and innovation trends in core banking, trade finance, and lending.

- Collaborate closely with the account teams (notably with sales team members in CEE).

- Lead internal enablement and mentoring for new hires and less experienced consultants as a subject matter expert.

- Build and manage customer reference sites and maintain strong professional relationships.

**Key Attributes & Experience:**

- 10+ years of experience in the financial services software industry, with significant domain expertise in core banking, trade finance, and corporate lending (experience in retail/universal banking is an advantage).

- Demonstrated success in pre-sales, solution consulting, or sales engineering, ideally with major financial technology vendors (e.g., Temenos, Finacle, TCS, Asseco, Sopra, Surecomp, CGI, Finastra).

- Deep understanding of core banking and lending systems, trade finance platforms, and related banking IT landscape.

- Experience presenting complex software solutions to executive, business and technical stakeholders.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trust with C-level clients.

- Fluency in Polish and English; additional Central or Eastern European languages highly desirable.

- Growth mindset and collaborative team player, adept at operating in a multicultural, matrixed environment.

- Ability to travel as needed across the CEE and broader Europe region.

**Nice to Have:**

- Experience with implementation or architecture of Oracle Financial Services products or competitor systems (Loan IQ, Surecomp, etc.)

- Experience of working with banks in business or IT but the relevant domains of core banking, lending, trade finance.

- Knowledge of the CEE banking landscape and established customer/partner networks.

- Additional language skills beyond Polish and English.

Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.
