The ORT (On the Road) First Mile Regional Manager is responsible for leading and managing the first-mile operations strategy and execution within the designated region. This role focuses on optimizing pickup operations, managing carrier relationships, and ensuring efficient first-mile logistics performance to meet service level agreements and business objectives.

- Manage team performance and development for first-mile operations
- Optimize pickup network design and carrier capacity planning
- Drive operational excellence in first-mile logistics processes
- Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and service providers
- Monitor and analyze first-mile KPIs and performance metrics
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for pickup operations
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless end-to-end operations
- Lead problem-solving efforts for first-mile operational challenges
- Manage budget and resource allocation for regional first-mile operations
- Drive innovation and process improvements in pickup operations
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience with performance metrics and process improvement and Lean techniques
- Advanced English
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading and developing teams in an operational environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as an acting operations manager, or experience managing large teams across multiple locations and languages
- Experience in significant team leadership from a managerial position in the transportation delivery industry, or a similar logistics environment
- Operational and/or retail management experience
