Test Automation Intern - Rellingen, Germany

The Music Creation Apps team works on creating the industry leading music creation software GarageBand, Logic Pro and MainStage. Our team is actively looking for an intern to learn and grow in our Tools & Automation team.

Please note: Ideally, we would prefer applications for individuals based within Germany, specifically Hamburg/Rellingen area. We will require you to access the office in Rellingen 3 x a week, and 2 days remote working from home. We will not be sponsoring visa's or relocating individuals for this internship.

Description

As an intern you will be writing software to test, measure and improve the quality of our applications, leveraging both traditional UI Tests and emerging AI/ML technologies. We want to hear about new insights, so we can improve and speed up our development using the intelligent automation you create. We welcome candidates with AI/ML experience as well as those passionate about learning these technologies and applying them to real-world software testing.

To be eligible for our internship, you must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree program.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in a programming language (Preferably Swift, Python, JavaScript).
• Eagerness to learn new things and take up new challenges.
• Available for 6 months or more.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on multi-functional projects with a globally located team.
• Some experience in or exposure to AI and machine learning.
• Some experience with testing frameworks (e.g. XCTest, Swift Testing, Swift Server).
• Plays a music instrument or experience with music creation software.
