Amazon Marketplace and Global Selling have been key engines of Amazon’s growth over the past several years. We are seeking an intellectually curious, self-driven, innovative, and highly motivated professional to lead marketing growth in Japan.
The primary responsibility of this role is to define and execute the marketing strategy for the OOC business in Japan, with a strong focus on driving brand awareness, traffic generation, and customer acquisition. The role will own customer profiling, campaign planning and execution, and continuous optimization across marketing channels.
This role will also establish robust measurement and tracking mechanisms, including marketing channel performance reviews, and analyze market and customer trends to inform data-driven strategic decisions.
The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Central Marketing team, Finance team, and Global Brand team to ensure aligned brand proposition and customer communication, secure marketing budgets through annual planning, and partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing campaigns effectively support overall OPS and GMS growth.

Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- 5+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
- Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese
