Summary

Apple’s GGML (Graphics, Games, Machine Learning) Software team provides the graphics software foundation for all of Apple's innovative products, including iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac, and Watch. Our responsibilities encompass the frameworks, developer tools, and hardware drivers for the GPU and Display devices for all of Apple’s hardware.

Description

The Apple Display Driver team develops the display driver for Apple's hardware technologies on Mac products. We are looking for an hands-on manager to lead and grow the Display driver engineering team, drive development of the new features and provide technical guidance and leadership to the team.
The successful candidate will have a deep technical expertise, able to quickly understand complex software and hardware systems, attention to detail, focus on quality and experience leading the teams on both technical and line-manager level.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience working cross-functionally
  • Strong OS and HW fundamentals
  • Excellent programming (C/C++) and system design skills
  • Low level development experience including advanced debugging and problem solving

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record of successful and timely delivery of software projects
  • Experience leading large cross functional SW projects
  • Knowledge of display technology
  • Experience with hardware bring-up
  • Experience with embedded systems
