We are currently seeking a PR Manager for our communications team in Indonesia. The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively managing activity with media and influencers that drives understanding and excitement around Mac and iPad. This role will focus on launching new products, increasing awareness of existing products, software and features, and broadening relationships with media and influencers on established and emerging platforms across Indonesia.

- The successful candidate will bring energy, ideas and an appetite to bring fresh storytelling ideas to fruition for our Mac and iPad.

- This person will also be responsible for MacOS, iPadOS Apple’s software platform for Mac and iPad, helping customers with more personalised experiences, stay connected, and more, while keeping your data private and secure.

- This role will report into PR Manager, Mac & iPad, SE Asia. They will work in partnership to create strategies and deliver campaigns that increase awareness and understanding of products and their software in Indonesia.

- The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a variety of other teams and functions to create and deliver the activity that increases awareness and understanding. This may include other product PR managers covering iPhone, iPad, Mac and Services, country product PR teams in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand, Product Marketing, Marcom and Sales teams.

- They will help us find new relationships amongst the talent and communities that use our products to deliver the world’s most exciting work, and will be tasked with leading our efforts in finding new media and social platforms through which we can tell those stories.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in public relations, influencer relations or PR agency.
  • Experience in media relations and have developed a network of media contacts in creative, tech, design and cultural platforms.
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is required.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

  • Successfully delivered creative PR campaigns that have created meaningful impact.
  • Self-motivated, possess a positive team-player attitude and passionate about consumer technology. Self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Able to work with ambiguity and on complex topics across multiple jurisdictions. Skilled in multi-tasking, delivering under tight timelines, adapting quickly to change.
  • Effectively builds formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization.
  • Develops and delivers effective communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • Analyses complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
  • Understands internal and external stakeholder requirements, expectations, and needs.
