We are seeking an experienced bilingual lawyer with strong regulatory experience in Vietnam to support Apple’s growing businesses and operations in the Southeast Asia region.

Description

You will provide comprehensive legal advice and strategic counseling on a wide range of matters relating to Apple’s businesses and operations in Vietnam and other countries in the Southeast Asia region. Demonstrating your deep understanding of local regulatory environment, you will also work with the broader legal team around the world to help formulate risk mitigation strategies in the region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and stay updated on changes in Vietnamese laws and regulations, advising teams on potential impacts and necessary actions.

- Engage collaboratively with legal teams world wide to conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop strategic risk mitigation initiatives for the business.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, marketing and tax to ensure alignment with legal requirements and business objectives.

- Manage and coordinate external legal counsel and service providers, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality resolution of legal issues.

- Act as the point of contact for legal inquiries from internal stakeholders, providing clear and practical guidance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters or equivalent in related coursework
• 7+ years of strong regulatory and legal experience advising multinational corporations at a leading law firm and/or in-house in Vietnam and/or Singapore
• Outstanding communication skills in English and Vietnamese due to market coverage
• Qualified lawyer
