The International Content Design team conceptualises designs and creates content experiences for some of Apple’s most visible media products. Your ideas will impact the way people consume media products, what they look and feel like and how they’re used by millions of people across the globe.
Description
We are seeking a world-class Senior Content Design Producer. This opportunity is for a communicator and problem solver who wants to have their hands in several things at once; who can deliver end-to-end design across media types, devices, formats and technologies; and who can collaborate well with others.
This individual should have extensive experience as a Producer and/or Project Manager leading content design projects, including defining and creating clear scopes of work, timelines and deliverables. The skills to lead multiple projects simultaneously, deliver on time, communicate clearly, and relentlessly uphold Apple's creative vision will come naturally to you. You are highly organized, proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable. You can ‘see around the corner’ and identify communication, logistical, and scheduling challenges. Prior experience in international organisations, managing distributed teams and communications with cross-functional partners and external vendors is a plus.
The assets that we create span across design, photography, motion, typography and illustration and having demonstrable experience and knowledge of best practices working across all mediums is essential.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end content creation and production processes across multiple Music work streams.
Responsibilities
- Support the design team in creating and managing design systems at scale.
- Run and communicate overall production timelines, project deliverables, and resourcing needs.
- Establish and manage cross-functional communications and workflows, ensuring effective exchange of information and deliverables, across multiple global timezones.
- Oversee and lead onboarding, kickoffs and ongoing meetings to ensure cross-functional teams are aligned on priorities and deadlines throughout the entire project cycle.
- Ability to proactively identify and solve potential challenges throughout the creative and production processes.
- Ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations, when necessary.
- Deep project oversight to ensure that time-sensitive bottlenecks are eliminated and high-quality creative is produced on time.
- Handle any day-to-day queries, assets QA and troubleshooting.
- Partner closely with internal and external trafficking teams to ensure all deliverables are implemented accurately, deadlines are met and executions are flawless.
- Lead budget and fee negotiations with external agencies and artists, in partnership with our Art Buying team.
- Manage budget tracking.
- Manage confidentially usage/rights agreements with external agencies and/or artists in-line with company policy.
- Coordinate business affairs and legal approvals where required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Extensive creative production experience specifically with design, illustration and motion projects at a design agency or in-house design department.
- Demonstrated experience working with creative teams, managing design processes and systems at scale.
- Ability to understand and communicate creative intent to internal and external partners and proactively coordinate with partners to bring creative ideas to life.
- Experience working with international brands or agencies, with multi-language and culturally relevant content.
- Proven ability to create and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Strong financial proficiency, with the ability to handle project budgets including forecasting, tracking and reporting.
- Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail (including QC of all deliverables) and a proactive attitude are a must.
Preferred Qualifications
- A passion for Music is ideal, yet not required.
- Japanese language skills (written, listening, spoken)
