Description

We are looking for someone who is passionate about engineering and thrives on innovation to help build the tooling for the world’s most innovative mobile devices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Engineering, Tool Making, Polymer Technology or equivalent.
  • Hand-on experience in the tool making, design, fabrication, assembly, troubleshooting etc. - Preferably in Consumer Electronics yields
  • Systematic, strong logical sense, problem solving with statistical tools such as Mini-Tab, JMP and etc.
  • Able to map out DOE, and execute the validation plan independently
  • Strong communication skills - written presentation and verbal
  • Frequent travel within the region is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiar with tool fabrication processes and methodology for high volume precision tool.
  • Well-rounded in injection molding tool design, including various gate scheme, over-mold, multiple shots and etc.
  • Good knowledge in wide range of materials such as engineering plastic, liquid silicon rubber, thermal plastics, MIM, primer and epoxy.
  • Good knowledge of geometric dimensioning
  • Familiar with 3D modelling/simulation software such as Pro/E, Unigraphics,
  • Moldflow, Moldex3D or other software packages.
  • Experience in managing and develop precision parts, high pace and mass volume products with multiple vendors in parallel.
  • Excellent in written, presentation, and oral communication.
  • Systematic, analytical & strong troubleshooting skills
