WTE Cellular Stability Quality Engineering team is looking for a motivated, highly-technical software engineer with rich hands-on project experience of 4G/5G cellular. This is an outstanding opportunity, based out of Apple Beijing office, to join a focused team and work collaboratively with other groups to make a significant impact on our products.

Description

You will join a dynamic team focusing on the baseband stability and performance of latest iPhone/iPad/Watch. Your job responsibilities will include but not limited to below points:

Triggering stress test jobs, monitoring results and diagnosing automation issues seen in jobs execution.

Deep diving the baseband stability and KPI issues, working with dev team to drive the fixes.

Understanding new features and designing test strategies accordingly.

Optimizing test strategies and improve efficiency by leveraging automation tools and AI/ML.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor/Master Degree in Computer Science, Electronics & communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
In-depth knowledge of mobile communications in 4G/5G, including solid understanding of 4G/5G protocol stack and IMS flow, good hands-on experience in baseband trouble shooting and log analysis.
Fluent in both oral and written English.
Decent coding & scripting skill to utilize and implement the automation tools for daily work

Preferred Qualifications

AIML background or stability testing experience on wireless product is a big plus.
Details-oriented and able to work independently with minimal direction
Proactive to tackle various issues by creative thinking, keep improving test efficiency by tool development
