The Health group is looking for a APAC Regulatory Policy Lead to drive advocacy efforts for Apple’s medical devices features across APAC.If you are passionate about the health space and want to have an incredible impact here at Apple, this could be the role for you. Description
You will lead Apple medical device policy within APAC and represent the Health team on a diverse array of initiatives and programs with the goal of boosting Apple’s presence in the region with a view to accelerating access for Apple’s medical device features. You will work closely with stakeholders across Health including Regulatory, Clinical, Government Affairs and other organizations to pave the way for innovative Health features in APAC. You’ll oversee and manage Apple Health’s policy goals in APAC and establish the necessary coalitions and teams to advocate for expanding Apple’s presence in health within the region.
Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. degree or equivalent in a lifescience, legal or business discipline
- Demonstrable background in being autonomous and being able to clearly work towards establish goals and initiatives with minimal oversight.
- Proven competence in determination of appropriate regulatory requirements across a variety of jurisdictions and applicable policies for new products or product changes
- Strong ability to identify and convene stakeholders
- Proven ability to operate within the APAC region
- Specific expertise in navigating regulatory complexities within China
- Strong organizational and management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred Qualifications
- M.S/ PhD/ post-secondary education preferred
