Description

As an Optical Metrology Engineer, you will be working on development of optical metrology and lens metrology. The work will include collaboration and perform hands-on work with various optical metrology equipment. Work with cross-functional team to develop innovative optical metrology systems. Analysis of the optical element impact to the image quality characteristics of the camera.Drive development of advanced metrology methods.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of technical experience in conceptualizing and designing the measurement mechanisms, grounded in a comprehensive understanding of the principles, specifications, and operational procedures of optical metrology instruments, including MTF testers and interferometers.
  • 3+ years of technical experience in the field of optical measurement methodologies and characterization.
  • 3+ years of extensive experience in utilizing CAD software for 3D modeling and drafting.
  • Effective in both written and verbal communication in Japanese and English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of fundamental principle in wide field of optical metrology, including MTF and interferometry
  • Experience with scientific computing languages for data analysis or simulation (Ex. Python, Matlab, C/C++)
  • Experienced in measurement data analysis by using statistical methods
  • Experience in manufacturing, assembly, testing, failure analysis of optical components or modules
