As a Hardware Engineering Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing engineering development for our future generation iPhone products. You will use your program management skills, imagination, creativity to lead these exciting programs forward!

Description

This individual contributor role will have significant responsibilities in making decisions, collaborating with multi-functional teams, vendors and suppliers around the globe during the entire development cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on product prototyping and factory manufacturing for MLB (main logic board) and Flex globally
  • Establish and manage build material readiness, schedule, critical path, and risks
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration, including Product Design, Electrical engineer, CE, DFM, wireless, Flex, reliability and operations
  • Drive components vendors and iPhone SMT factories day-to-day activities to meet project objectives and work closely with system EPM on system integration needs
  • Drive day-to-day build material readiness and manage build goal and matrix
  • Plan and execute product prototype builds
  • Communicate and present in various forums to wide ranges of audiences
  • Understand and deal well with rapid development cycles. Be passionate and creative, remain flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty. Explore, navigate through ambiguities

Minimum Qualifications

  • More than 5 years experience working in consumer electronic product
  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering related degree or relevant work experience
  • Flexibility with travel (up to 50% maximum)
  • Flexibility with working hours and schedule
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS Degree or above in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • More than 3 years experience working as program manager for hardware development
  • New product introduction (NPI) experience of hardware products
  • Experience working with or as contract manufacturers
  • Experience in factory SMT(Surface Mount Technology) process, fixture, assembly, testing and logistic
  • Excellent presentation, communication and articulation skills
  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
