At Apple, we combine product management/development and product marketing responsibilities into a single, cross functional Product Management role that collaborates with design, engineering, finance, legal, marketing communications, public relations, market research, sales and support for maximum impact across the organization.
Product Marketing Managers represent the customer throughout a product’s journey from concept through development and launch. They develop and apply insights to help infuse innovative features into our product-development process, and work to craft groundbreaking ideas into tangible products that excite the world.
Description
We are currently seeking a Product Marketing Manager in Korea! This role will be part of a team of product experts who champion Apple’s products in their respective markets, ensuring they remain central to the customer conversation.
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will own and drive the product centric marketing strategy for your respective smartphone and wearable product lines of businesses. You’ll be responsible for developing strategic, integrated marketing plans that place Apple’s products, services, and values at the heart of culture and be the local spokesperson for the responsible products in Korea.
Responsibilities
- Articulate the product opportunity in market and provide product insight and leadership from introduction through end-of-life to both the Marketing and Sales organizations
- Execute product launches with excellence every time
- Contribute to the annual Korea Marketing plan, outlining opportunity and actions that lead growth and category leadership
- Be the liaison between Korea and worldwide for all local business needs and feature requirements related to these product lines of business. Influence the product feature roadmap, making clear recommendations that improve customer experience
- Become a visible and vocal member of the Product Marketing team
- Be the guardian of product messaging and positioning across every customer touch point, advancing the cause of excellence
- Possess expert knowledge of competitive and 3rd party products and strategies. Make pricing and forecasting recommendations to management and cross-functional teams
- Build a sphere of influence across multiple internal functions / divisions
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years experience having led multiple product development cycles from concept to launch
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the industry
- Business Level Proficiency in English and Korean
- Ability to travel up to 4 times in a year
